Preorder Guidelines

Some Hints on Getting Your Preorder Just Right!

  • Include thickness, weight, flavor and any special requests when preordering. 
  • If we have not received specifications, Butcher Eric will use standards such as:
    • 1-inch Cuts for Steaks
    • 1-lb Packs for Hamburger
    • 3 to 4-lb Roasts
  • Remember, a preorder is the best way to ensure you get the meat you want from Whitt’s Place!
  • If for any reason, an order is not able to be picked up on the delivery date request, please let us know via email (thebutcher@whittsplace.com) or phone (423-686-2202) of the change. If we have not received communication, we will place the order back on the shelves 24 hours after the requested date, to ensure the freshness of ordered cuts.
  • Any dairy orders not picked up on the selected date will be returned to stock and relisted for sale due to their shorter shelf life.

Preorder Cutoff Times

  • Beef and Pork preorder cut off is Thursday at Noon, as we have finished processing breakdowns and will not be able to accommodate any further custom cuts.
  • Feel free to include any items in our store on your preorder!
  • An auto reply will communicate that your email was successfully received.
  • If there are any questions or modifications required concerning the pick-up days, quantities, etc., we will reply to your email directly.
  • A team member will notify you via email when your order is ready for pick up.
