Simple and Delicious Slow Cooker Beef Ribs

Chef Ali made a rub for these Beef Ribs and slow-cooked them all day. It’s another simple and delicious recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp dried thyme
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 package beef ribs (approx 4 pounds) cut into individual ribs
  • 1 cup beer or water or beef stock. Your choice!! (I used beer)

Directions

Take the dry ingredients and make a rub. Generously rub the meaty side down the ribs and then place them in the slow cooker. Pouring remaining rub as it is sooo good.

Add your cup of liquid and cover and cook on low for 7 hours. Check to make sure you still have some liquid and if not add a bit more.

Take the ribs out and place them on a foil lined sheet pan and broil for a few minutes each side to add some more color.

Add the pan juices to a pan and boil until reduced by at least half. If you are pushed for time you can also thicken this with cornstarch but reducing the juices makes it more flavor packed!

Simple, few ingredients- just sit back and let them do their thing in the slow cooker!

Serve the ribs with your favorite sides and a few spoonfuls of the reduced pan juices.

I would suggest mashed sweet potato, mashed potatoes, or even cheese grits and your favorite green vegetable. Enjoy!
